EFCC VS OZEKHOME: 75M WAS PROFFESIONAL FEE PAID ME BY FAYOSE-OZEKHOME


Senior advocate of Nigeria mike ozekhome has reacted to the order of the court freezing his account as requested by the economic and financial crimes commission.
Speaking in ado-ekiti, ozekhome says the 75 million naira was professional fee which he charged ekiti state governor ayodele fayose in the cases he was handling for him as he vows to challenge the order in court
The court of appeal sitting in ado ekiti is billed to hear a matter involving two factions of the state Peoples Democratic Party.
 Faction believed to be loyal to Governor Ayodele Fayose is being represented by the Mike Ozekhome, the embattled senior advocate of nigeria whose account was frozen by the EFCC.
Ozekhome however absolves himself of any wrong doing that may have led to his account being frozen, saying the amount in question was his professional fee paid by governor fayose.
Alleging efcc of trampling on his fundamental human rights, ozekhome vows to challenge the order in court and have his account unfrozen.
Mike ozekhome’s account was frozen by an order of a federal high court in Lagos led by justice Abdulazeez Anka on the request of the economic and financial crimes commission, alleging that the 75 million naira traced to the senior advocate’s account was a proceed of crime.
