Senator Ovie Omo Agege from Delta state defects from the Labour Party to the All progressives congress.
The senator representing Delta central senatorial zone said his decision to switch parties is necessitated by the call from his constituents to move over to the party at the central from where they can benefit more from the Federal government’s development drive in the country.
As is the rule with the senate, the matter was not up for debate as the APC members received the new entrant.
