#OsunWestDecides: It’s Adeleke PDP, Hussein APC And Bade Falade For SDP

The stage is now set for the July 8 bye-election for the vacant Osun west senatorial district seat.

As of now, candidates for major political parties have emerged through consensus.

The resignation of Ademola Adeleke from the All progressives Congress and dumping the party’s Primary dropped the ticket on the laps of Mudashiru Hussein who hailed from Ejigbo.

Ademola Adeleke and his supporters were on top of their games as they quickly aligned with the Alimodu-Sheriff faction of the PDP, got him waiver to contest and subsequently getting other contestants like Olasunkanmi Akinlabi who served at the 6th Senate and Olayiwola Falabi concede the PDP ticket to Ademola Adeleke.

With news coming in,  it is reported that Osun state Labour Party, APGA and CNPP has also teamed up to support the candidature of Ademola Adeleke.

The Markarfi faction of the PDP in Osun state took to the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to field candidate for the July 8th bye-election, with a member of the House of representatives in the sixth Assembly Bade Falade defeating his opponent to emerge candidate at the party’s  primary.

Otunba Ademola Adeleke polled 343 votes from total accredited votes of 400.

Senator Mudashiru Hussein polled 2412 votes of total 2431 delegates are cast to clinch APC’s ticket.

Stay tuned.
