Breaking: Owoeye Resigns As Osun Head of Service

The Osun State Head of Service Mr Sunday Olayinka Owoeye has resigned from his position.

Timenewsng gathered that Owoeye popularly called "Aristotle"  who took over from Elder Segun Akinwunmi, a Stunt critic of the state government resigned voluntarily on Monday.

The reason for the sudden resignation of the duly Owoeye  who has been with the Rauf Aregbesola led administration for five years at the moment remain unknown.

The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy Lani Baderinwa has however congratulated Mr Owoeye for his years of service.

Baderinwa in a Facebook post said "May God bless the rational decision of Mr Sunday Olayinka Owoeye, the Head of Service in the State of Osun for 5 solid years, all with Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola administration, to VOLUNTARILY RETIRE from service.

  He stated further that" Mr Owoeye remains historically the first and only democratically ELECTED HoS in Nigeria. He remains the a most robust discussant in the anal of Osun administration.

  "He is often referred to as ARISTOTLE by Council members in appreciation of fecund contributions to Cabinet discussions. So ebullient, he would always appreciate good deeds and rebuff untowards comments and actions against what he believes in and stands for. Owoeye is a man of history who will not allow cheap and subtle misinformation to scuttle his glorious exit from the Civil Service he served so diligently and protect with all his brain and strength"
