Police Parade Fake Drug Seller, Ritualist Syndicate In Osun




The Police in osun state have paraded one suspect for selling fake and expired drugs to unsuspecting members of the public.

The police also paraded two members of a suspected cult/ ritualist syndicate code named 'zone two' in ifon osun area of the state.

Parading the suspects at the state command headquarters in osogbo, the osun state police commissioner, Fimihan Adeoye said the arrests were made following 'credible intelligence'

According to Adeoye, the suspected fake drug seller was caught operating an illegal chemist shop with further investigation revealing that the suspect has been selling expired drugs which he repackaged with new nafdac numbers.

On the ritualist syndicate, the osun police commissioner said two members of the the syndicate headed by one Sehidu aliu a.k.a. "alaga" who is now at large were arrested.

He said police investigation led to the discovery of their shrine/den at isangbe village in ifon osun where outrageous numbers of statues, carved woods, foams, assorted charms, cloths, empty bottles of alcohol used for sacrifice.

He said police is currently in pursuit of 15 other members of the syndicate who are now at large.
