Lagos Lawyer And Activist Ikechukwu Ikeji Is Dead

A Popular Lagos-based human right activist and attorney,  Ikechukwu Ikeji is dead according to ALEDEH.COM

ALEDEH gathered that the outspoken attorney who is also a Pastor at The City Of Light Church (TCOLC), Ijesha, Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, died on Sunday evening, November 12, 2017.

Barrister Ikeji was said to have attended the Sunday service at TCOLC, Ijesha, Lagos and did not complain of any issue during and after the church service.

After the church activities, The City Of Light Church, Ijesha, Lagos, had a dinner which Barrister Ikeji also attended.

 The attorney went upstairs after the dinner and was seen coughing and vomiting a few minutes later.

Barrister Ikeji, the founder of Ikechukwu Ikeji and Co. law firm located at 16, Fadeyi Aladura Steet, Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria, was reportedly rushed to an undisclosed hospital and was later pronounced dead by doctors on Sunday night, November 12.

The Imo state born attorney left behind his wife and three (3) children, all boys. ALEDEH gathered that the last child of the deceased is yet to clock six (6) months.

Late Ikeji was known for his pragmatic activism especially at the NBA Ikeja branch. He was also known for his deep analysis which made him endeared to journalists as he is being featured on topical national issues.

Barrister Ikeji also stood out in his critique against the federal government's handling manner of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) scenario.
