Barely twenty four hours after leaving the shores of Ado-Ekiti, vice president Yemi Osinbajo made his way back to the town and straight to the palace of Ewi of Ado Ekiti Oba Rufus Aladesanmi.
Other traditional rulers across the state also assembled alongside service chiefs in the state to receive Osinbajo.
The vice president, accompanied by the Dr Kayode Fayemi and the governor of Ondo state Olurotimi Akeredolu apologised for his inability to pay homage to the monarchs on tuesday, citing emergency assignment in Abuja as excuse.
Osinbajo however canvassed for the candidature of Dr John Kayode Fayemi asking for the support of the traditional rulers in making the July 14th governorship election a peaceful one
