The government of Oyo state under senator Abiola Ajimobi has made good its threat to demolish “The Music House” belonging to popular musician Yinka Ayefele.
The music house also hosts the musician’s Radio station known as Fresh FM.
Ayefele and the state government have been locked in battles for some weeks now over the demolition noticed served on the building by the state government. But every early on Sunday morning, bulldozers with matching orders began the demolition of the edifice valued at over Eight Hundred Million Naira.
Presenters who were presenting a program were said to be on air when the demolition began and the station went off air abruptly as excatly 7.45am
