Osun State Hospital Will Give Quality Health Services – Oyetola


Osun state government says the rehabilitation of facilities at the state general hospital will give residents access quality health.

The state supervision for works,Mr Remi Omowaye stated this while monitoring the ongoing rehabilitation in the state general hospital,Asubiaro Osogbo.

Since the inception of the present administration in of Governor Gboyega oyetola government has pay special attention to revitalization of health facilities in the state with the aim of improving health status of citizens.

It was in line with the realization of this feat that Osun state government paid a visit to the hospital for first hand information on the state of facilities in the hospital.

Aside the rehabilitation of the hospital, the state government has also  commenced reconstruction and rehabilitation of over three hundred primary health facilities in the state.

Speaking,Osun state supervisor for works, Mr Remi Omowaye said the rehabilitation had became imperative to make the facilities be in line with global best practices.

Mr Omowaye noted that the ongoing revitalization process  include construction of one hundred and twenty bed space and thirty flats building for medical doctors.

He maintained that the rehabilitation would enhance the performance of health personnel and position them for  effective service delivery.

Also speaking,A member of Osun state  health revitalization committee, Doctor simeon Afolayan said the committee had already  developed a roadmap for repositioning the health sector in the state,saying the rehabilitation was not as a result of monkey invasion into the facility.

Doctor Afolayan maintained that if the rehabilitation completed it would aid access to quality health in the state.

On his part,The supervisor for health in the state, Doctor Rafiu  Isamotu said government was keen to provision of  quality life to the citizenry hence its commitment to health sector.

Doctor Isamotu called on people of the state to continue to support government in its quest to position the state for socio economic development.
