Osun Ministry Of Transportation To Sanitize Revenue Collection, Increase IGR

State of Osun Special Adviser to the Governor on works and Transportation, Engr Olatoke Hussein Olaniyan has reassured the state House of Assembly of his commitment to addressing existing leakages in revenue collection with a view to increasing the revenue internally generated by the ministry.
Engr Olatoke stated these while defending the Ministry Of transportation  budget for 2020 in the state House of Assembly complex, Osogbo. 
The Special Adviser said he’s committed to ensuring that agencies under his ministry contribute massively to the growth of economy in the state. 
While responding to questions raised by honourable memers on road traffic violations, Engr Olatoke promised the house that necessary measures will be put in place to deal with traffic violators adding that media campaign is on-going to sensitise road users across the state. 
Speaking on behalf of agencies under ministry of transportation, Engr Olatoke told the  house of assembly that Osun Road Maintenance Agency will ensure that all roads across all the 3 senatorial district in Osun are properly maintained . 
The house commended work done by Osun Roads Maintenance Agency, ORAM even as it urged the agency not to relent  so that government can spend less in reconstruction or rehabilitation of roads. 
O’TRAM, VIO ,FRSC and Traffic Warden officers in the state were also adviced to ensure orderliness and safety in all roads across the state.
