Governor Okowa’s Daughter Tests Positive For COVID-19
Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on Friday disclosed that one of his daughters has tested positive for COVID-19.

Okowa made this known this known via his verified Twitter page.

The Governor added that he and his wife, Edith will go into 14 days isolation, in line with the laid down protocols of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

“Earlier today, Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for #COVID19. Hence, in-line with the laid out procedures, we are both going into isolation for the next 14-days.

“We will continue to keep you all updated,” he tweeted.

Currently, Delta State has a total of 715 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
