The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 130 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.
The NCDC, on its verified website on Friday, noted that COVID-19 related mortalities stands at 2,027 as no new death was recorded in the last 24 hours.
The public health agency said that 538 treated persons were also discharged from various isolation centres across the country.
It added that the total number of recorded cases in the country so far to 161,539 with 2,027 deaths while about 147,581 patients have been discharged after testing negative twice for the virus.
