The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has registered additional 18 COVID-19 infections, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 167,095.
The NCDC made the disclosure via its official Facebook handle.
It stated that the additions were recorded in three states.
The agency said that 13 cases were recorded in Lagos, three cases in Rivers and one in Gombe.
The nation’s public health institution noted that the country’s death toll remained 2,117 as no death were recorded.
The NCDC also stated that 163,483 people have been successfully treated and discharged from isolation centers across the country.
