The Sultanate Council of Sokoto, has declared Tuesday 4/1/2022 as the first day of Jumada Assaniya 1443 AH.
Secretary, Moon Sighting Committee of the Sultanate Council, Yahaya Muhammad Boyi, made this known in Press Release he signed and made available to news men.
He said, the Sultan has accepted the information he received about the sighting of the new lunar moon on Monday.
Jimada Thani, is the sixth month of the Lunar Hijra calender.
