Tompolo Declares War On Illegal Oil Activities

Tompolo, Ex-militant warlord, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, who was recently awarded a N4billion per month pipeline surveillance contract in the Niger Delta by the Federal Government has declared ‘clamp down’ on all illegal activities in the region.

Tompolo made the declaration at a stakeholders consultative meeting ahead of the commencement of the surveillance activities which kicked off on Saturday, September 3rd 2022.

Amid concerns by the ‘Creek Men’ and other critical stakeholders in the oil-rich Niger Delta region, Tompolo said, “The business of pipeline surveillance is all inclusive”.

Tompolo, while speaking at the stakeholders consultative meeting held at Oporoza in the Palace of the Oboro Gbaraun, the King of Gbaramatu kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, promised of “reaching out to all stakeholders”.

 

Tompolo assured of including “critical stakeholders” in the business of pipeline surveillance in the oil-rich Niger Delta as, according to him, “the fight against oil thieves could be said to be a collective one”.

In attendance at the stakeholders meeting were Wellington Okrika, Bolowei, Gbaramatu Kingdom; Obukohwo Whiskey, the paramount ruler of Idjerhe kingdom; Tamuno-Omisiki Ogube, Amayanabo from Kirike Kingdom; Zacchaeus Egbunu, Agadagba & paramount ruler, Arogbo Ijaw Kingdom as well as Frank Okorakpo, king of Okugbe Isoko Kingdom, among others.
