Newly Promoted Military Men In Borno Charged On Redoubling Efforts To Tackle Insecurity.

 

No fewer than 22 Senior military officers serving in Northeast Nigeria have been promoted to their next ranks.

 

 

The investiture and decoration ceremony took place at the Headquarters of Operation Hadin Kai, at the Maimalari Military Cantonment in Maiduguri, Borno State..

 

 

The Theatre Commander, Joint Task Force, North East, Operation Hadin Kai, Major General Christopher Musa who decorated the senior officers, reminded that the promotion has placed greater responsibility, on them. He charged them to make more sacrifices while redoubling their efforts in the discharge of their duties amid the security challenges.”

 

The Force Commander, Multi-National Joint Task Force, (MNJTF), Major-General Abdul-Khalifah Ibrahim, advised the senior officers to redouble efforts in the fight against insurgency.: “You have to be firm in making decisions, and take mentoring of younger officers, seriously”.

 

Borno Governor’s representative and Commissioner for Justice, Kaka Shehu, commended the military, for tackling the security challenges headlong in the country, and urged them to do more, within the rules of engagement.

 

The decorated senior officers included Brigadier-Generals GM Mut-kut of Headquarters, Sector 3, and AA Eyitayo of Headquarters, 7 Division/Sector 1, Operation Hadin Kai, who have been promoted to Major-Generals.

Others included twenty Colonels to Brigadiers General, including the spokesman of Operation Hadin Kai, now Brigadier-General Ado Isa, Ifeanyi Mark, among others.
