President Muhammadu Buhari has made known his intention to stay a little longer in the United Kingdom.
According to a release made available by his Special Adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adeshina, the president needs to take a little more as advised by his health instructor.
The release says Buhari is grateful to millions of Nigerians for their prayers and good wishes.
“The President is immensely grateful for the prayers in mosques and churches across the country, and show of love and concern”
President Buhari wants Nigerians to know there is no cause for worry.
During his normal annual checkup, tests showed he needed a longer period of rest, necessitating the President staying longer than originally planned.
Recall the President had earlier extended his 10 day annual leave to 31 days, making Nigerians of all shades to question his health status.
The speculation about his acclaimed deteriorating health and rumored death , was however brought under wrap by the President phone conversation with President Donald Trump of the United States.
