Students of Government technical college and Osogbo High School Wednesday engaged in violent battle royale on issue which seems still unclear.
Some students who spoke with TimeNewsNg attributed the problem to officials of the Nigeria Peace Corps and the Vigilante Group of Nigeria posted to the school. The officials were accused of distortion,extortion,harassment and seizure of phones and other valuables.
The security officials were further accused of conniving with students of Osogbo High school in the act which prompt Technical students to go on rampage.
The Nigeria Police force detached just few of its men to the area which emboldened the students to go to the street and subsequently attacked Osogbo High School with the students later facing each other.
While the melee lasted, four students were reported to be injured and one Vigilante officer battered by the students.
