“COMMISIONERLESS STATE” : AREGBESOLA SET TO APPOINT AIDES, COUNCIL CHAIRMEN

The long wait for residents and people of Osun state prevailing on the state governor, Rauf Aregbesola in constituting executive cabinet may be over any time soon as there is inkling that the governor is  putting finishing touches to appointing commissioners for various ministries.

This was made known by chief of staff to the governor Gboyega Oyetola at a parley with journalists in Osogbo.

Oyetola explained that the delay of governor Aregbesola in constituting his cabinet two years into his second term was due to paucity of fund in the state coffer which makes it difficult for the state government to bear the cost of running the government with the retinue of aides to be serviced.

This however in the words of Gboyega Oyetola is set to change as governor Rauf Aregbesola is not only ready to constitute his cabinet but also constitute caretaker chairmen for local governments in the state though a date is not yet set as to when the cabinet will be constituted.
