Osun state police command has paraded a gang of six man, suspected to be fuel tanker hijackers terrorising ondo and Osun states.
The suspects are Blessing Akintoye, Gowon Tayo, Omoniyi Johnson, Godday Daniel, Akinjole Kayode and Akintayo.
The state commissioner of police, Fimihan Adeoye said ,two of the suspects were arrested while transporting the stolen fuel tanker filled with 33,000litres of petrol along Ife/Ilesha road to ondo state.
Adeoye, during the parade, told journalists that three other suspects involved in the murder of one Ibidun Olabode during a cult clash in Osogbo late last year, have been arrested and charged to cult for murder.
The command also paraded a group of six young boys and a girl for hard drug trafficking and consumption.
According to the police boss, the command would not rest on its oars until the state is rid of crime and criminal elements.
He said, the suspects will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation, with a warning to criminals in the state to desist on time, to avoid nemesis catching up with them.
