When the news of Osun state governor Rauf Aregbesola’s preparedness to form a new cabinet hits the town, many people were like after two years , it wont happen. But events in the past weeks is proving that Aregbesola is seriously getting set to make this happen. TimeNewsng reliably gathered that various meetings had been going within party faithful from ward level to local government and finally to the state level scheming things out on who to choose as caretaker chairmen for various local governments councils and LCDAs.
On that of his cabinet, it would be recalled that Rauf Aregbesola had in January evicted occupants at the commissioners’ quaters. This is coming after two years of occupying those apartments even as they do have any official capacity to do. The eviction was a pointer to the fact that new occupants in the cadres of commissioners and senior special assistants/advisers may be occupying the apartments soon.
Ass if that was not enough, just some days ago, the governor fete with his political aides in what was tagged a send-forth ceremony for his former commissioners and aides. This is no doubt an eye opener that the state may be ready to have full cabinet once again, even asit’s been touted that Osun state is now bouyant enough to accommodate the financial obligation of these appointees.
