Ibori was quoted to have said ” i’m not a thief and cannot be a thief”
He was convicted by a UK court after pleading guilty to money laundering charges in 2014.
The Oghara-born politician, was recently released after completing his jail term in the UK.
He arrived the country last Saturday and was received with pumps and pageantry.
It was as if a messiah of sort just arrived.
It was another celebration mode today at the home town of the former Delta State Governor , as his families, friends, political associates and supporters all joined in the thanksgiving service held in his honor.
Homecoming???????
