“Stop Embarrassing Yourself ” Nigerians React To Melaye’s Academic Gown Show

Chairman Senate committee on FCT, senator Dino Melaye on Tuesday attended plenary wearing a purple academic gown.

The dramatic move by the senator was no doubt in celebrating his exoneration by the Vice Chancellor of his alma-mata Ahmadu Bello University, over the authenticity of his first degree certificate.

Melaye who has since the confirmation been celebrating, took his jubilation a step higher, with his appearance at the senate.

This action of the senator has again brought him under fire from Nigerians, who think, he’s being too childish.

Many reactions have been trailing his choice of dress at plenary on Tuesday.
