The Lagos State Police Command has recovered the real body of Dr. Orji Allwell who committed suicide an the Third Mainland bridge on Sunday.
A body thought to be the late doctor’s was earlier discovered by the police on Tuesday but was rejected by the family rejected.
The real corpse of the doctor was however recovered on Wednesday evening and www.timenewsng.com learnt that the family of the deceased doctor have identified it and acknowledged it.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Fatal Owoseni confirmed that the driver who was with him when the incident occured and his younger brother identified the remains.
The police boss stated further that the corpse was recovered around CMS area.
He stated that forensic examination will still be conducted on the corpse before it would be finally released to the family.
Dr All well Orji Committed suicide on Sunday when he leaped and jumped into the Lagoon, on Lagos 3rd Mainland bridge, while returning from work.
Police rescue team and other agencies in the state immediately swung into action, before his body was eventually found today.
