In the wake of the death of former military governor of old Bendel State Late Samuel Ogbemudia, the media has been agog actually waiting for another burial which may stand the test of time. Since Bendel was the acronym for Benin and Delta, Late Ogbemudia’s burial was seen as the responsibility of both state and as such the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium where farewell service was held for the late military man, both states were ably represented by their governors. South west senators like Sola Adeyeye representing Osun central and Buruji Kasahmu of Ogun east were among dignitaries. The event also afforded Lucky Igbinedion, former governor of Edo state to have an uting with his political rivals like former governor Adams Oshimhole who had never concealed his disdain for Igbinedion when it comes to alleged corrupt practices.
