You Are Bereft Of Ideas; Osun PDP Tells Aregbesola

The celebration of students resumption to the mega schools built by the Osun  state government on Tuesday has continued to generate reactions.

The state government at the commissioning of the fourth edifice which is Ataoja Government Hugh School in Osogbo  explained the rationale behind this fanfare.

According to governor RaufAregbesola, “Though it is the Ataoja Government High School that is newly commissioned, celebrations are extended to the Wole Soyinka High School Ejigbo, Adventist High School Ede, and Government High School in Osogbo which had hitherto been commissioned because the celebration signifies the beginning of active learning in the school and the start of a new educational milestone to be recorded in the state.”

This was posited by the governor while explaining the erroneous believe nursed in some quarters that these schools are being re-commissioned.

But to the People’s Democratic Party in the state, these projects are no doubt being re-commissioned, no mater the explanations given to it by the state governor.

In a press statement released to journalists,The Biodun Faforiji faction took of The People’s Democratic Party   described as “highest level of corruption the re commissioning of schools by the state governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.”

Signed by the party’s  Director of media and publicity Mr Idowu Afolami, he described the governor as having paucity of projects hence his resort to commissioning projects already commissioned by the president.

Afolami wondered why “the government of Osun State is so wasteful and uncaring to the level of wasting the tax payers money on frivolous things like commissioning already commissioned projects.”

As the state government celebrates school resumption into these four new schools out of the eleven proposed amidst pomp and fun, PDP has called on the state government to explain the rationale behind what it called waste of money, time and manpower on this second commissioning.
