A Senator from Abia State, Enyinnaya Abaribe, on Friday signed the bail bond for the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
So also did an unconfirmed report say that a Jewish leader has signed the bail bond for Kanu.
There are other prominent Nigerians who are reported to have agreed to stand surety for him.
The terms of the bail has it that a Jewish leader should be among three persons that will stand for Kanu’s bail and in the sum of N100 million each.
Kanu is standing trial for treason
He has been in custody since his arrest by the Department of State Services in 2015.
