The suppose peaceful protest seeking for the release of the head of Shia group Ibraheem El-Zakzaky turned into a water bath and teargas atmosphere by the police, as the group was stopped from marching out from the unity fountain.
Concerned Nigerians and human rights activist Chidi Odinkalu express disappointment over the actions by the police who are meant to protect them.
He added that they only converge to send message to the government that the height of injustice to the Shite leader Ibrahim Zakzaky is unfair hence he should be released.
