The All Progressives Congress has for the second time in three days postponed the primary election for the Osun west senatorial by-election.
The primary election which was supposed have taken place on Monday, June the 12th was rescheduled to hold on Wednesday, to allow the National Working Committee of the party study the report of the appeal committee which upheld the disqualification of one of the two aspirants by the screening committee.
Chairman of the screening and primary election committee, Hon. Sanusi Rikiji had on Monday told journalists at a press briefing that the exercise will hold on Tuesday, but, when TIME NEWSNG got to the designated venue of the election, it was learnt that, it has been postponed again.
Some INEC officials were also met at the Venue leaving, after learning of the postponement of the election.
It’s however not clear when the election will be held, as the Rikiji led committee has not come out to say anything as at press time.
