The Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun has pledged that Osogbo will continue to support the governor of the state, Rauf Aregbesola and his party.
The Ataoja who was represented by some of his chiefs at ward one meeting of the All Progressives Congress in Osogbo, said Osogbo, as the state capital, has benefited from the government of Rauf Aregbesola more than any previous administration.
Speakers at the meeting, including the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Ajibola Bashiru who stated that Osogbo is ready to support Aregbesola and vote APC in future elections.
They appealed to the governor to continue his giant developmental strides in Osogbo and Osun state in general.
The APC stalwarts enjoined party loyalists and supporters not to be deterred by the party’s recent loss in Osun west, urging them to be optimistic ahead of future elections.
