Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court in Abuja has disqualified himself from hearing the charges bordering on abduction and murder filed against eight Boko Haram suspects by the Federal government.
The judge took the decision after the suspects through their lawyers raised allegation of bias against the court.
In a short ruling, Justice Tsoho ordered for the case file to be transferred to the acting Chief judge of the court, Justice Abdul Kafarati for reassignment.
The suspects are being accused of involvement in the abduction of seven foreigners from a construction site in Bauchi state where they were allegedly taken to Sambisa forest and were later murdered in February 2013.
