Olojo Festival 2017:Tradition Meets Modernity In Ile-Ife, Buhari Felicitates With Ooni

Olojo Festival is an annual traditional event in Ile-Ife, Osun state which Yoruba history says means the creation of day. 
It is the second time the festival would be celebrated by the incumbent traditional ruler of the ancient town, Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi,and no stone was left unturned in making the festival a colorful one. 
The sacred Crown of Are which the Ooni adorns once in a year after spending seven day in Seclusion is an important and a symbolic aspect of the  festival ,that is most cherished by all and Ooni Ogunwusi worn the crown to the admiration of all who appreciate tradition and Culture. 
President Muhammadu Buhari could not attend but sent the minister of health Prof Isaac Adewole to appreciate Ooni Ogunwusi for his contribution in the promotion of peace and National unity.
