| Osun Citizens in The UK meeting with K-RAD |
In making his aspiration a widely accepted one and in fulfilment of his promise to carry all sons and daughters of Osun state along, leading governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress(APC) in State of Osun, Kunle Rasheed Adegoke, popularly called “K-RAD” met with Osun indigenes in the United Kingdom to intimate them of his aspiration to lead the state of the virtuous come 2018.
Given a rousing welcome by the expectant crowd, K-Rad set the ball rolling by bringing to the fore, the basis of his aspiration. Adegoke unveiled his “Future Assured Osun Developmental Agenda” to the admiration of his hosts.
Adegoke commending efforts of Osun indigenes in diaspora said “it will be a great disservice not to acknowledge your efforts in the development of our dear state. For a visionary leader with the strong hope of leading our state back to prosperity, the expertise, resourcefulness and technical knowhow of you all must be put into consideration in achieving this feat, hence finding it very appropriate to approach you, that you listen to us as we reel out our vision for our dear state, and also listen to you as you help in fine tunning our thoughts and to seek your support and inclusiveness in our quest to making Osun great again.”
Apparently convinced not only by his eloquence but also by the realistic nature of K-RAD’s articulate plan for Osun, the sons and daughters of Osun state in London present at the meeting graciously endorsed Rasheed Adegoke’s governorship aspiration, pledging to provide support in all forms and manner for the realisation of his goal.
Speaking, leader of Osun citizens under Tiwa n Tiwa L’Osun, UK, Ademola Shittu, appreciated K-RAD’s gesture in counting them as an important factor in his bid to govern Osun state.
“We are confident about these plans which you have outlaid for us and we are very convinced that if followed to the letter, Osun state of our dream will be realised. We cannot but contribute our own quota to the realisation of this dream through our moral, intellectual and financial support as we strive together in taking Osun to an enviable status in the committee of States”, Shittu affirmed.
With K-RAD’s consultation dusted in United Kingdom, the train’s next stop is to the United States of America, Canada and the Netherlands.
