The Residents of church street in Osogbo, Osun state capital woke up to the arrest of a whole household , a situation which has caused panic and confusion in the area.

The arrest of the whole household was in connection with the destruction of Ebenco pharmacy in Ile-Ife which was allegedly perpetrated by the younger brother of the owner of the property.

More revelation is however coming out on the case as more suspects are been rounded up by the police.

The latest is that of one Yussuf who was arrested alongside his father who is an Imam and Islamic teacher, his father’s wives who are purdahs, and the students of the said Imam in Osogbo.

Yussuf got indicted as he was allegedly established to have accompanied the prime suspect popularly known as “Itrust” to Ile Ife to carry out the dastardly act.  While Itrust was unlucky as he was caught in the building sustaining first degree burns,  Yussuf was said to have sustained several injuries but made his way back to Osogbo.

The police recovery of Itrust’s phone revealed that he had constant conversation with Yussuf  on the fateful day and on further questioning, Yussuf’s house was discovered.

Further investigation revealed that Yusuf was been taken care of at home by his people without getting standard medical attention. When police however came calling,  The people in his house told the police that he has travelled. This according to investigations made the police intensify their efforts to unravel Yussu’s sudden disappearance.

After getting all facts, the police team swooped on the house of Yussuf’s father Monday morning, arresting Yussuf, his father, his father’s wives who are Purdah and students who are in the Imam’s house as students.

Check at the house showed a totally deserted house as people were seen in clusters discussing apparently what went down in the morning.

The Osun state police command is yet to confirm this arrest, though the commissioner of police Fimihan Adeoye had at the last press parley on the matter affirm that some suspects have been arrested and that investigation is still ongoing.
