The independent national electoral commission has urged stakeholders to up and doing in the forthcoming general election.
Osun state resident electoral commissioner, Mr segun Agbaje stated this in a forum organized to sanitize political stakeholders ahead of February 16th and march 2th general election in Oshogbo.
Speaking at forum, Mr segun Agbaje appealed to all politicians to shun violence and embrace peace during and after the election.
Mr segun mentioned some expectations n from the stakeholders to include engagement in effective, positive, purposeful and sustainable participation in the Democratic process

Mr segun mentioned that elderly people, visibly pregnant women and genuine nursing mothers are also going to be given privileged treatment during the election.
The resident electoral commissioner reassured electorates that the commission would continue to be neutral and transparent While creating a level playing Field for all the candidates participating in the general election on 16th February and 2nd March 2019.
He Appealed to the parties to run their campaign devoid of hate speeches and other acrimonious tendencies that could threaten the peaceful atmosphere existing in the state in the run-up to the election.
