2019: Police Pledges Crime Free Election

Innovative community policing concept has been stated to have capacity to curtail robbery, kidnapping ,ritual killings and other criminal activities right  from the source if tactically fashioned out.
The newly deployed assistant inspector general of police,Oyo,Osun and Ondo command, Adeleye Oyebade stated this while addressing some officers in Osogbo, Osun state.
Adeleye Oyebade said the force is planning a technical platforms of investigative system that will curb criminal activities within the zone  and at the same time ensure protection of human rights.
Speaking on the general election, 
the AIG implored political parties to honour the signed peace pacts and charged political elites to exhibit civil democracy in all the electoral processes.
He said that synergy with sister security agents in gathering, collating and sharing of vital information is necessary in fostering crime free environment. 
Speaking at a stakeholders forum,the newly deployed commissioner of police to osun state ,Mrs ABIODUN IGE called on stakeholders in the electoral process to support the command to ensure hitch free election.
Mrs Ige noted that the command was ready to ensure effective policing before during and after the election.

In a remark, the deputy inspector general of police ,Mr Jubril Yakubu cautioned politicians to play the game according to the rules and shun act that could mar the process.
Mr Yakubu assured the people of the state of the readiness of the police to work towards credible elections.
Some participants at the forum charged police to exhibit high sense of professionalism in the discharge of its duties.
They promised to support the command for the successful conduct of the forthcoming elections.
Stakeholders at the meeting hailed the police for the brief and enlightenment received toward having successful election.
The police bosses also used the opportunity to interact with the officers of the command ahead of the coming elections
