The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, has suspended its two-month strike embarked upon to demand the implementation of its agreement with the federal government.
ASUP National President, Usman Dutse, announced the suspension at the end of an emergency NEC meeting in Abuja.
Dutse subsequently directed members of the union to resume academic activities from Wednesday, 13 February.
The industrial action was embarked upon to protest government ‘s failure to implement agreements reached with the union in 2017.
