Suspected bandits have allegedly abducted a Sokoto State House of Assembly member, representing Gudu state Constituency, Sani Yakubu Gudu on Friday.
Timenewsng gathered that the legislator was abducted along Kware-Illela expressway on Friday morning.
Confirming the abduction of the state legislator, Sokoto state Police Command Public Relations Officer, Cordelia Nwawe said, the Police is looking into the matter and will address the press as soon as investigation is concluded.
The Legislator is a member of the All Progressives Congress APC and is seeking re-election to return to the state Assembly in the coming election.
