The First Lady State of Osun and President Ilerioluwa Development Initiative Mrs Kafayat Oyetola on Sunday May 10, moved her train of Palliative and Ramadan package distribution to Bamidele, Odeyinka, Ayetoro and Olowa townships in Irewole local government area of the state.
This is as she embarked on the move to ease the burden encountered by people during the lockdown and Ramadan period, with packages which includes Rice, Beans, Garri, Spaghetti, Noddles, Nose masks, Hand Sanitizers and Cash gift for the Elderly people.
Mrs Oyetola also used the avenue to enlighten the people of the town on how to curb the spread of Covid-19 by following the laid down rules of the government, which includes the use of nose mask, frequent handwashing and maintaining social distance.
One of the beneficiary at Odeyinka town in her remarks commended the First Lady for her gesture towards the people, as she promised her total support for this present administration and also prayed for the First Lady and her entire household.
Entourage of the First Lady at the distribution program include Wife of Deputy Governor, HE Mrs Olufunke Alabi, Wife of Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Oyebamiji, Commissioner for Women, Children and Social affairs, Barr. Mrs Olubukola Olaboopo among others.
