The Deputy Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, Bako Alfa, has resigned.
Alfa, did not disclose the reasons for his decision to resign in the resignation letter he submitted.
His resignation letter was read by the Speaker, Abdullahi Wuse, during Thursday plenary.
However, the House then, nominated Jibrin Baba representing Lavun constituency as the new deputy speaker.
