Nine lawmakers of the Ondo state House of Assembly has dissociated themselves from the impeachment process kick started against the Deputy governor of Ondo state Agboola Ajayi.
The lawmakers in a joint letter signed and made available to journalists say they will not be party to the impeachment.
Ondo has 23 lawmakers and there will be the need for 18 lawmakers to make the impeachment scale through. But with the present composition, the pro Agboola impeachment lawmakers are 14 as against the statutory 18 needed to form 2/3rd of the house composition.
