BREAKING: RevolutionNow: DSS Rearrests Bakare, six Others

The Department of State Services on Wednesday morning has arrested Olawale Bakare and six other #Revolutionnow protesters wearing orange colour cap around Olaiya Area of Osogbo, Osun State capital.

Meabwhile, it could be Recalled that in August 4, 2019, a human rights activist, pro-democracy campaigner, former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore staged a protest in Lagos, Abuja, Osun and other part of the country which led to his arrest and detention.

Similarly, Bakare was also arrested in Osogbo and arraigned alongside Sowore.

While waiting outside for the leadership of the chapel to invite them in, some policemen had approached them and were discussing with the protesters.

While that was on, armed men of Department of State Security swooped on the protesters and arrested seven.

A yet to be identified member of the RevolutionNow while addressing security agents and onlookers was abruptly arrested by DSS while, Bakare and two others were also arrested, others fled the scene.
