Wife of Olugbenga Ale, Chief of Staff to Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has been kidnapped.
The incident occurred 24 hours after the murder of Oba Adegoke Isreal Adeusi, the traditional ruler of Ifon in Ose Local Government Area.
A top government official confirmed the abduction.
“She was abducted today around Owena. The location is inward Akure after Joseph Ayo Babalola University. That’s all I know for now”, he said.
Another source disclosed that the victim was returning from Lagos to Akure when she was abducted by the bandits who laid siege on the highway and took her into the forest.
“The case has been reported to the security agencies especially the Amotekun and army to comb everywhere and we are expecting a feedback soon.”
Akeredolu who is aware of the incident also visited Ale to show solidarity and to ensure the safe release of the woman.
