President Muhammadu Buhari, has written to the Senate, seeking approval to confirm the appointment of Professor Mahmood Yakubu, for a second term in office.
President Buhari’s letter was read by the President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan during plenary on Tuesday.

He sought the lawmakers’ expeditious consideration of his request for another five-year tenure for Yakubu.
