COVID-19: Nigeria records 1,664 new cases, Five Additional Deaths

A total of one thousand, six hundred sixty-four, 1,664, new cases of COVID-19 infections have been recorded in Nigeria.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, announced the figure on Wednesday night in a tweet via its official Twitter account.

NCDC said Lagos State and FCT recorded 642 and 407 cases, respectively, while Plateau State followed with 160 cases.

The public health agency also recorded five additional COVID-19 related deaths.

Nigeria now has a total of 94,369 confirmed cases and 1,324 deaths.
