COVID-19: NCDC records more Deaths, toll now 1,641

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported seven deaths due to COVID-19 complications.

NCDC announced this as the country recorded 1,624 new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday.

This brings the total cases in Nigeria to 137,654 and 1,641 fatalities.

The health agency also confirmed the discharge of 916 patients from isolation centres across the country, bringing the total recoveries to 111,639.

The report reads: “1624 new cases of #COVID19 Nigeria.
