The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced 1,131 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.
The health agency while giving the report on Wednesday night via its website, said eight fresh deaths resulting from COVID-19 complications, have also been recorded.
NCDC said the total number of confirmed cases in the country, now stands at 142,578, adding that a total of 1,702 patients had died, while about 116,947 patients have recovered from the disease.
