COVID-19: Ondo, Kwara leads as Nigeria records 506 new infections

Ondo and Kwara state led the pack on Sunday with 90 and 89 respectively Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases as the country recorded 506 new infection in the country.

Data from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC ) showed that the cases were spread across 19 states and the FCT.

The development brings the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 139,748.

The health agency made the announcement last night while giving the usual daily report on its website.

NCDC also confirmed 20 fatalities, bringing the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the country to 1,667.

The agency also confirmed the recovery and discharge of 746 patients from its isolation centres. So far, 113,525 patients have recovered across the country.

The report reads: “506 new cases of #COVID19 Nigeria.
