The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 1,143 new COVID-19 infections in Nigeria.
NCDC made the announcement on its verified Twitter handle on Saturday night.
It noted that with the latest infections, the total confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country now stand at 145,664.
The public health agency said that the new cases were reported in 19 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The NCDC further said it recorded 13 additional COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.
