President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, met with Samuel Ortom, governor of Benue state.
Recall that Ortom’s convoy was attacked by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen while on a visit to his farm on Saturday.
Buhari has since ordered that the attack which took place on Saturday be thoroughly investigated.
Speaking to State House Correspondents after the meeting, Governor Ortom said he was pleased with President Buhari’s reaction to the development, adding they shared ideas on how to manage the crisis trailing the development.
